Jay Allen Stone, LCSW

Life doesn’t always unfold the way we hoped.

Therapy offers a space to slow down, understand your story, heal what’s wounded, and reconnect with the life you want .

As a therapist, I strive to provide a safe and nurturing space where you can explore what it means to be you and navigate life's challenges without judgment.

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma, grief, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can help you better understand yourself and move toward meaningful change.

My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and supported as we work together to create a life that feels more authentic, connected, and fulfilling.

Life's Studio is built on the belief that each person is continually creating the story of their life. Therapy provides a space to pause, reflect, and better understand the experiences, relationships, and patterns that shape us. Together, we can explore what has brought you here and help you move toward the life you want to create.

My Approach

Therapy tailored to the person because therapy begins with understanding.

I draw from several evidence-based and experiential approaches to help clients better understand themselves, heal old wounds, and create lasting change. Therapy is tailored to your needs rather than forcing you into a single method or technique.

Understanding Yourself

Drawing from psychodynamic, mindfulness-based cognitive, expressive art and traditional talk therapy approaches, we work to better understand the patterns, beliefs, and experiences shaping your life.

Healing Old Wounds

Using EMDR, parts work (IFS-informed), and somatic approaches, therapy can help process painful experiences, and reduce the impact of the past on the present while building greater resilience and self-trust.

Building Stronger Relationships.

Drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment theory, and relational approaches, we explore how past and present relationships influence connection, trust, boundaries, and self-worth.

Creating Meaningful Change

Using ACT, DBT-informed skills, mindfulness, and behavioral strategies, therapy focuses on developing tools for emotional regulation, resilience, and meaningful change.
